Pyrite Removal

In order to supplement the range of its client-services, we also provide expertise in the field of pyrite materials removal. The execution of building renovations due to the damage caused by the swelling of the pyrite are carried out in adherence with the highest standards, that is to say those recommended by the ASSOCIATION DES CONSOMMATEURS POUR LA QUALITE DANS LA CONSTRUCTION (ACQC).
We can provide turnkey solutions, including:
- Removal and storage of the client’s furniture and/or personal effects;
- Inspection of the wall footings and foundation;
- Demolition of basement structures and partitions;
- Repairs and waterproofing if needed;
- Excavation of concrete & pyritous embankment;
- Installation of a blind drain and a submersible below the level of the slab;
- Filling with ¾ inch net stone certified for concrete slab
- Casting of a 4 inch 25 MPA concrete slab with a 6 millimeter vapor-barrier, armoured grate and subsurface reinforcement fabrics (ie. geotextiles placed upon the ground);
